What ‘Get The WoW!’ stands for

My name is Ken Marshall and I set up Get The WoW! with my small team to offer an affordable service that, from my research of small business and individual websites, was needed.

The challenge for so many new business start-ups and small businesses in general is the current level of mystery that surrounds setting up an effective and professional looking website and then optimising it for those so important search engines we all use when we are looking to make a purchase of some kind.

This mystery adds a premium price to the vast majority of web design providers. Meaning that you either pay way over the odds for what you really need, or worse still, you decide to not bother with a website. And frankly in today’s internet driven business market that’s just such a big money loser.

What’s worse than not having a website?

There’s an even worse scenario than not having a website. And that’s where you attempt to create your own, either using some free or cheap software, or you get a friend who dabbles a little to do it.

The technical term for this option is ‘professional image suicide‘. And let’s be honest the quality and functionality of many websites out there leave a lot to be desired.

I have over 15 years experience in the art and science of web design with my apprenticeship being in Front Page and Dreamweaver.

These days I specialise in the Word Press platform because this gives my clients the ease of use and level of control that creates the very best user experience.

Remember, with Get The WoW! you are involved and consulted all along the way. Even my starter package includes six design revisions should you need them; I believe in offering people flexibility, choice and peace of mind.

The Word Press system I utilise is probably the easiest to use and most flexible on the market today. This means we can get you started at a low cost (just £59) and then train you to easily maintain the site for yourself. It’s quick and simple to do and is the most cost effective way – because you’re doing it for yourself updating your website is free.

There is no software to install or learn. Your website can be accessed by you, or a member of your staff, from any PC at anytime, using any browser and the on-line log in information assigned to your account.

Always be mindful that one of the biggest negatives for a potential client landing on your website is to see that it hasn’t been updated in a long while.
